Standardized green tea extract contains highly purified polyphenols
rich in natural green tea catechins. These polyphenols act as natural
antioxidants and antimicrobial agents. The antioxidants help prevent
free radical damage to cells, thereby preventing the cell mutations that
may result in malignancies, particularly gastrointestinal, lung and skin cancers.
Cholesterol-lowering green tea polyphenols have been shown to
reduce plaque buildup in the arteries and have a beneficial effect on
